1.hold out

释义： To refuse an offer or agreement, usually in order to wait for something else.

释义：

To describe when somebody causes a disturbance or is loud in public. Often it's embarrassing.当众大吵大闹，出洋相

7.piss off

释义：

To greatly anger or irritate someone. 惹恼某人

e.g. I think I might start cycling to work in the morning—this traffic really pisses me off!

e.g. I didn't know anyone at the party, so I pissed off  around 11.

释义：

To sell or produce something so successfully as  to overshadow all others in the same field. 垄断市场

e.g.That company is so popular right now that they've really cornered the market on video games.

To buy most of a particular item or stock so that one can control its price. 囤积居奇

e.g.If you think he bought all that stock to corner  the market, you should report him—that kind of activity is illegal.

此处，直译为“Kate并没有掌控所有的问题”，所以还有些事情是Kate不了解的。
