请问lz，这次听证之后最高法院必须作出判决吗？或者法官们有可能以被告standing不够充分dismiss这个case？
判决会在6月做出，判决结果可能是以下4种：
1 认定standing不足直接驳回，从而原第九巡回法院的判决自动生效，加州同志享有结婚权； 2 认定违宪，做出狭义解释，加州8号提案无效，加州同志享有结婚权； 3 认定违宪，做出广义解释，所有禁止同性婚姻的州法律都宣布无效，全国婚姻平权； 4 认定现有民事伴侣关系足够，不需要修改婚姻定义，发回加州法院重审，加州同志不能结婚。

这样其实也很好啊，dismiss的话上诉法院的判决就具有最终效力了，至少对加州同志来说可以重新享有结婚权
但不是最理想的判决。如果连上DOMA都以违宪作出判决，那么美国就更靠近国歌里描述的land of the free了。
DOMA我刚听了判决，左右两派法官几乎在同时打脸，DOMA被宣布违宪是100%的事了。
